About Jin
Jin So, a spirited singer and actor from South Korea, has found her artistic home in the vibrant landscape of New York City. Fueled by a profound belief in music and art's transformative power, Jin draws inspiration from nature, infusing her work with its boundless spiritual richness.
Her musical style, a fusion of her Korean roots and a global perspective acquired through performances in diverse cities like Kigali, Budapest, Glasgow, Boston, New York, and Seoul, showcases her wide-ranging cultural influences in 4 different continents. Jin's performances transcend boundaries, allowing her to connect with audiences in 13 languages across genres ranging from Jazz, Korean folk fusion, experimental improvisation to Bossa nova, R&B, and musical theater, as well as contributions to film music.
A recent graduate with a major in Vocal Performance and a minor in Musical Theater Performance from Berklee College of Music, Jin has received accolades such as the World Tour Scholarship & Voice Department Achievement Award. Her education has not only honed her skills but also provided her with a solid foundation to embark on her exciting career in New York City.
Jin is poised to continue captivating audiences worldwide with her versatile talent, bridging cultures through the universal language of music.
